Eric Lynn

Eric Lynn is the CEO of DeltaPoint Solutions – a consultancy focused on helping business leaders leverage critical moments.

Eric is a software architect with over 25 years of hands-on experience in software architecture, design and development. His expertise spans both object-oriented and functional paradigms and includes work in event processing, machine learning, time-series analysis, agent-based architectures and advanced data visualizations.

Back in the early days of .NET adoption, Microsoft selected Eric to be the Chairman of the Microsoft Architect Council for the MidAmerica district. Since then, he has continued to provide training and consulting services for corporations – from small manufacturing companies to Fortune 50 Corporations including Microsoft, Anheuser-Busch and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Eric’s skills include a unique ability to communicate technology to a broad range of audiences from down-to-the-metal technicians to business development professionals to executives. He is a frequent speaker and has authored courses on enterprise architecture patterns that have been taught publicly as well as privately for companies including Intel Corporation.

Though Eric focuses much of his time on writing, speaking and consulting on strategy he stays active in full life-cycle development. His most recent project includes the design and development of software engaging physiological signals with pattern-recognition techniques for the early identification of sepsis. He is the co-author of several patents applying to this exciting new technology, including some licensed to Medtronic/Covidien.
